About the role

EmploySwift is hiring a Retail Executive for a retail store in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. You will look after walk-in customers, close sales, handle billing at the counter and keep the product displays full and tidy through the day.

The role suits someone with one to three years in retail or another customer-facing job, who can explain products clearly and enjoys a busy shop floor. Training on the store's billing software is given, so earlier software experience is not needed.

Pay is ₹14,500 to ₹21,000 a month, full time, at the store in Rewa. Product knowledge, display changes and store targets are shared across the team, so there is room to move up to a senior floor or supervisor role. Shifts are planned a week ahead so you know your off days in advance, and uniform and in-store product training are given from day one.

What you'll do

  • Attend to walk-in customers and answer product queries
  • Convert store visits into sales
  • Handle billing on the store software (training provided)
  • Keep product displays neat, full and correctly priced
  • Rearrange displays periodically so the store looks fresh
  • Stay up to date on the brand's products and offers
  • Work with the team towards store sales and service targets

What you'll need

  • 1-3 years in retail, counter sales or another customer-facing role
  • Clear spoken English plus the local language of Rewa
  • Confident, patient and comfortable approaching customers
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a store team
  • Willing to work full-day store shifts, including weekends
