About the role
EmploySwift is hiring an HR Assistant in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. You will run the recruitment cycle end to end - sourcing, screening, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, salary discussions and appointment formalities - and keep a backup pipeline so hiring never stalls.
Alongside recruitment you will maintain employee records, support performance-management and HR processes, plan engagement activities, and answer the HR questions that come in from inside and outside the company. Bulk hiring through job portals, networking, advertisements and campus drives in Vijayawada and Andhra Pradesh is part of the job.
Pay is ₹22,000 to ₹24,500 a month with a five-day week. It is a good first HR role for a recent graduate who is organised, discreet and ready to make decisions on their own. The role reports to the HR lead and covers hiring for every department, so you see the whole hiring cycle rather than one slice of it.
What you'll do
- Run the recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, shortlisting and scheduling
- Check that candidate profiles match the job description and the team's needs
- Keep a pipeline of backup candidates so hiring does not stall
- Handle bulk hiring through portals, networking, ads and campus drives in Vijayawada
- Organise hiring drives and interviews and see onboarding through
- Maintain digital and physical employee records
- Support performance management and HR procedures
- Plan employee engagement activities
- Answer internal and external HR queries
What you'll need
- Graduate, preferably with HR education or a relevant internship
- 0-2 years of experience; recent graduates may apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with good time management
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions
- Discreet with confidential employee information
